OUR PEOPLE

Asia Rail Engineering is led by our two directors, Phillip Peachey and Manjit Sandhu supported by Ahmad Sazali-Business Development Manager, Ken Ramsey-Signalling Manager and Martin Fagg-Operations Manager bring together over 100 years of experience and expertise in the rail and construction industry.

Phillip Peachey - Engineering Director

Phill was formerly professional head of Civil Engineering for Balfour Beatty Rail Renewals. He is an Incorporated Engineer, Member of the Association of Project Managers and former member and chairperson of the Civil Engineering Conference Development Group. With 37 years experience in roles ranging from Trackman, P-Way supervisor, all technical grades through to senior management, he has a comprehensive knowledge of rail projects, maintenance and renewal works, both in the UK and the Far East. Phill has championed a number of new innovations, most notably in track design for which he was nominated for innovator of the year in Great Britain.

Manjit Sandhu - Business Director

As Managing Director of a construction company in Singapore; Manjit has vast experience of serving major Civil, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering projects in Rail, Petrochemical and Pharmaceutical industries with dedicated project staff, both planned and reactive. He has worked with Balfour Beatty/Gammon Joint Venture for the Woodlands, Changi and recently the Boon Lay Extensions to the Singapore MRT. He also has good track records working with McConnell Dowell and Punj Lloyd on various marine and tankage works respectively, and for various clients such as Exxon Mobile, Oil tanking, Horizon Terminals, Helios Terminals among many others. As a partner in Asia Rail Engineering he brings extensive local rail and business knowledge to the team.

Ahmad Sazali Bin Salleh - Business Development Manager

Sazali has a vast experience in Managing Sourcing, Procurement and Operations' activities with leading Multinational / OEM companies. He was also a Regional and Country Sourcing, Procurement and Logistics Manager for one of the world leading Railway Engineering Company for projects in South East Asia. He was an Operations and Contracts Manager in several Electronics Multinational Companies, also involved in several Passenger Train projects in SIngapore.

Sazali dedicates his focus in developing and expanding business opportunities with potential and existing clients on meeting current and future demands.
